What is a Flipped Classroom?

A flipped classroom is a different take on the traditional teaching model. It challenges students to be independent, but allows teachers to reach them with help during the work; when they need it most -- and right when they are usually left on their own.

Why a flipped classroom?

Teaching any class comes with its own set of challenges. Teaching a combined grade classroom simply comes with different challenges. One of those is presenting the Science and Social curricular material from both grades in the same room. This is an experiment for us, and one that we are very excited about.
